David Bowie is Alive at The Broadway-Lafayette Subway Station

Spotify's tribute to David Bowie at NYC's Broadway-Lafayette station celebrates his influence on the city. Visit before May 13th to experience the legacy.

David Bowie was a fearless, rock-n-roll revolutionary who was always pushing the boundaries.

He passed away in 2016 due to liver cancer, but his legacy and career will no doubt live on and continue to inspire those who reject conformity.

If you love David Bowie and haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, Spotify has taken over the Broadway-Lafayette subway station in New York City with a large tribute to the icon. An exhibit that is worth seeing and only runs until May 13th - so don’t miss out.

The focus of the tribute is David Bowie’s influence on New York City, featuring quotes from David about New York and beautifully placed images of him throughout his career.

The subway exhibit is an extension of “David Bowie is” an exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, that explores the creative process of David Bowie. While the subway extension only runs until May 13th, “David Bowie is” is open until July 15th.

We recommend checking out the station yourself before the exhibit’s end on May 13th, but below are more images we captured during our visit. Enjoy :)
