This week, we carefully tested and analyzed (drank) the Corpse Reviver No. 2
In case you’re not familiar with us here at Kworq, we are a fan of the cocktail. Such fans, that we thought it would be cool to take one of our favorite things and figure out how to tell a story around it. I like to think of it as an excuse to drink disguised as an exercise in creativity. But you can be the judge of that.
What It Is
The Corpse Reviver cocktails were a series of strong concoctions made to snap you to life the morning after a bender. Creator, Harry Craddock would say that it was “To be taken before 11 a.m., or whenever steam and energy are needed.”

Why We Wanted To Make It
We wanted something classic, strong, and with a good story. Harry Craddock is legendary in the cocktail world after writing the bartender’s bible, ‘The Savoy Cocktail Book.” The Corpse Reviver No. 2 and its predecessor were a couple of his most popular. Plus, it was fun to play around with how we wanted to visually portray the drink.
Why the bones?
Because surviving a bad hangover is like being resurrected from the dead. You don’t want to be there and no one wants you there.
The Verdict
The Corpse Reviver No. 2 gets a couple thumbs up from us. But she’s a stiff one.
